Community health branchArizona CHW certification comes from ADHS and needs 480 hours of experience. CHW Pro is not a state certification. State approval is in progress, starting with Arizona and Pennsylvania.
Home care branchHands-on skills testing and the RN skills check happen at a partner program, such as an AHCCCS-approved training and testing program. FFH provides CNA/LNA prep, not the credential.

My Healthy IDEAS projects, Share It activities and Category Qwest boards work well for chapter practice. FFH is not affiliated with HOSA.
Arizona district incentive. Districts can earn Arizona's $1,000 per-graduate industry credential incentive when students earn a listed credential. Direct Care Worker is on the ADE list for 51.2602. Students earn that credential through an approved program, not from FFH.

Learners
Is FREE Basics really free?
Yes. The 10 Things eBook and the Category Qwest board are free, with no sign-up.
How long does DHN Pro take?
24 core hours in 12 two-hour modules, plus an 8-hour work-readiness strand. Go at your own pace or with a group.
Is this a state license?
No. FFH awards badges and certificates of completion. Outside credentials, like Arizona CHW certification or Direct Care Worker, come from state boards and approved programs.
Programs
How is time on task measured?
The FFH Academy tracks each learner's time to the minute. Program leads see it on the cohort dashboard and can export it.
How are client outcomes kept private?
Navigators log outcome types, such as portal activated, not client names. Outcomes roll up to the PHIT Score Card by ZIP code.
Can our own staff lead it?
Yes. Choose train-the-trainer. Leaders get the Group Leader Guide and monthly leader webinars.
Schools
Which grades is it for?
FREE Basics works for everyone. DHN Pro and Home Care fit high school CTE. Junior CHW is for ages 16–17. CHW Pro is for learners 18 and older.
Do teachers need health training?
No. Every course has a Group Leader Guide with schedules, openers, activities and discussion questions.
Are you part of HOSA?
No. FFH is not affiliated with HOSA-Future Health Professionals. Our projects and games work well for chapter practice.
