Your modifiable risk factors, turned into a plan
Dr. Rob is prototyping a Modifiable Risk Factor Motivator widget on Stroke first. When it ships it embeds right here — turning each Sudden Cardiac Arrest (Survivor)-relevant risk factor into a tracked, evidence-backed action.
If you ever need to explain your Sudden Cardiac Arrest (Survivor) in 30 seconds, start here.
“I’m a sudden cardiac arrest survivor. My heart stopped and I was brought back. I now have an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) that monitors and can shock my heart if it happens again. I wanted you to know because if my ICD fires, that’s the device doing its job — tell me, sit me down, and we call my team. Multiple shocks in a row is a 911 call. And if I collapse and don’t respond, start CPR and call 911 immediately.”
