From Coach Lucy & Dr. Rob: Welcome — and we build this Advance the Dream work in honor of Coach Josh. This Score Card measures how fully a community is advancing the Dream, not by opinion but by data across eight pillars. We didn’t get these pillars handed to us by Dr. King or the others directly; we built them around the areas those leaders fought for, grounded in their words, their impact, and where they placed their focus. When you’re ready, close this and go straight to the snapshot.

A Score Card reveals what a community values by choosing what it counts. We built ours around the focus areas of those who gave their lives to the Dream — each lends a lens. Two above all shape how we measure: W.E.B. Du Bois hand-drew data portraits of Black America for the 1900 Paris Exposition, and Ida B. Wells documented injustice in statistics the nation could not deny. To count is to refuse to be invisible.

The distance to true equity — parity with the best-off group and the disappearance of disparity ratios. Justice, quantified.

Each domain score = ½ · Attainment + ½ · Parity-Closure. A community reaches “Dream Realized” only when excellence and equity rise together.

Diagnose — the snapshot shows which of the eight domains is holding the Dream back.
Convene — the roundtable of 12 acts on the gaps, each seat owning the pillar it’s closest to.
Activate (F) — Ambassadors trained, Coach Lucy & Dr. Rob engaged, Reality Health Games and Academy completions all raise the F Factor directly.
Compete & celebrate — communities race to climb the Dream Ladder — the model we then hand to every other channel director.
