Original songs. Every genre. One message — you do matter.
This collection is our special tribute to a dear friend, partner, Force for Health Champion, and legacy maker — Joshua Williams, Jr.
Music does what words alone can't. The science is clear — melody moves the brain, steadies the soul, and helps us learn, remember, and heal. Across history it has carried movements and held communities together.
So here's the challenge: choose a favorite, then explore a genre you'd never pick. Hear the same message — you do matter — through a new lens, and notice how differently it lands. Let this journey through the genres stretch your horizons.
— Coach Lucy & Dr. Rob

Born on a tobacco farm in Quincy, Florida, Joshua Williams, Jr. fell in love with computer technology at Dillard University and spent his life bridging the technology gap for young people. He founded the You Do Matter Foundation, trained over 1,000 youth in leadership and STEAM, and authored All Aboard… Full STEAM Ahead.
Josh was a true WingTapper — always reaching up. He cared for, included, and empowered the seniors in his life; he stood shoulder to shoulder with his brothers as cherished peers; and he lifted up the youth who are our future generation. He knew exactly what he wanted others to carry with them so they could live their best lives possible, and he gave it freely.
He gave even as he carried so much himself. For years Josh faced serious health challenges with remarkable courage, and never let them dim his light. This past January, when he wasn't feeling well, he and his father reached out to Dr. Rob, who urged him to the ER right away — and it was his father, Deacon Joshua Williams, Sr., who drove him there. Josh came through a frightening heart crisis, only to learn that his father had suffered one of his own and did not survive. The two were bound that closely. In the months that followed, both his illness and a heart heavy with grief took their toll. This collection honors them together — father and son — which is why Deacon Williams's songs, His Legacy Lives On, live here alongside Josh's.
His message never changed: no matter what they say, you do matter. These songs carry that message forward — the same words he gave to thousands of students, now set to music across every genre so the whole world can hear them.
This collection is lovingly dedicated to Joshua Williams, Jr.'s family — immediate and extended — and to everyone whose life has been touched by his.
The Listening Lab is gamified through the same Learn It / Live It / Share It economy that runs across the entire Force for Health® Academy — earned for real engagement, not just a click.
