  3. 3. Read the Falls Force Field Fact Sheet · ~10 minutes
  4. 4. Complete the Prepared Patient Course · ~3 hours, paced over a week
  5. 5. Set up your Materials & Tools · ~1 hour to assemble
  6. 6. Skills Lab demo · ~45 minutes (one in-person or telepresent session)
  7. 7. Take the exam → earn your Ambassador credential · ~30 minutes
  8. 8. Become a Falls Disease Advocate (beyond yourself) · At your pace
Learning objectives:
  1. Do your strength and balance routine, remove home hazards, and demonstrate a safe get-up-after-a-fall plan.
  2. Read and explain your own medicine/treatment list — what each is for, the dose, and the timing — and demonstrate any device you use.
  3. Sign in to your patient portal unaided, find your latest results, and bring your log and questions to your next visit.
  4. Say your personal action plan out loud, including your call-the-clinic vs call-911 red flags.
