Created by City and County ordinance in 1975, the PCTWC is an official agency charged with assisting women to achieve full equality of opportunity in all aspects of life — and to expose, eliminate, and prevent discrimination against women. Jointly chartered by the Tucson Mayor & Council and the Pima County Board of Supervisors, it has served as an all-volunteer force for women's equality for half a century. This Challenge is offered as an in-kind 50th-anniversary gift from The Force for Health Network and Coach Lucy Howell, a former Commissioner (2012–2017).
