Learning Project Playbook — Population Health is a TEAM SPORT… Let's Play!
IDEAS
Hosted by Coach Gina Your My Healthy IDEAS guide
Empowering STEAM TEAMS to address & impact the Social Determinants of Health issues that matter most in their communities. Fill this in as you go — then scan a QR code to jump straight into that phase of the course.
Over the next several weeks, your STEAM TEAM will work as a project-based team to compete in a Public Health Campaign Challenge — the Reality Health Games. You'll learn about self-advocacy and the social determinants of health, then build a media campaign that educates your community about a topic your team is passionate about, earning badges and recognition on the Force for Health platform.
The Format
12 sessions, 45–60 minutes each, plus 15–60 minutes of weekly challenges
Teams of 4–5, led by a mentor/coach
Deliverables: a 1-minute video, a Team Directory listing, and an 8-minute presentation (5-minute project + 3-minute Q&A)
Did you know? Personal responsibility is only ~30% of the factors that determine health. The rest lives in our community conditions — which is exactly what your team is here to change. Think GLOCAL: act local, learn what works, and share it across the Network.
