For community health workers: Bring printed screenshots of a sample patient portal (de-identified) so participants can see what one looks like before accessing their own. Many people, especially older adults, have never been shown how to navigate a portal even though they have access to one.

Privacy note: Remind participants that their personal health data is private. They should never share login credentials. The Live It tasks ask them to look up their own data — they do not share that data with the group.

For classrooms: Use sample/demo patient records available from ONC's website for classroom demonstration. Students should not enter real health data on school devices.
