Your personal Cube of Influence, Gratitude, and Service. Reach UP for mentors. OUT for peers. DOWN for the next generation. Earn it through four levels of recognition.
"You already know everyone you need to know." — Bob Beaudine, The Power of Who — his Personal Board of Directors exercise, reinterpreted here for the women and girls of My Girl Power®.
That line started it for me. I read The Power of Who in a season when I was about to give up on a goal I really wanted, and Bob was right — I didn't need to find new people. I needed to recognize, thank, and lean into the ones already in my circle, and make sure I was doing the same for the ones coming up behind me.
That's a Wingtapper.
"The flock always outdistances those who fly alone." — Chinese proverb
Watch a flock of geese fly south. They fly in a V because the tip of each wing creates an updraft for the bird behind them. They literally tap each other's wings into the sky. The lead bird breaks the wind. When the lead gets tired, another bird rotates up. They honk to encourage each other. If one falls out of formation, two others go down with it until it can fly again. They never make the journey alone.
That's the practice. That's the Cube.
You exercise these three muscles your whole life. Not in a season. Not for a project. Forever. Because the flow goes both ways — when you stop reaching up, you stop growing. When you stop reaching out, you stop belonging. When you stop reaching down, you stop mattering.
This is how you build your base, your force field, and your foundation — your personal flight formation. It's how you keep the four P's alive in your life:
The Wingtappers Cube Challenge is the exercise. The 5×5 grid is the formation. The four-level activation ladder is the rep count. The LIVE Lounge is where we sweat together.
Welcome to the practice. The sky's wide enough for all of us — and the flock honks louder when you join.
Every Wingtapper square in your top half climbs the same four-rung ladder — from a quick recognition to co-creating their Legacy Life Book. Reach DOWN squares track differently: hours of mentoring and celebration.
Submit who they are, the reach direction, and the 3 things they did that earned a square in your Cube of Influence, Gratitude, and Service.
Interview them — or send them the Wingtappers Form to complete. A SHARE It Studio Power Tool template that turns the submittal into shareable content.
Five paths, equal weight. Send a gift, nominate them through a partner org, host a celebration, create a custom tribute, or publicly recognize them. Any 1 = Level 3. All 5 = Hall of Fame tier ⭐
Top tier. Become a Book Buddy for a senior in your life and co-create their Legacy Life Book — preserving their story while they're still here.
Two of the squares are filled at meaningful levels — and these aren't fictional. They're the people who shaped Lucy and the work she did to honor them.
The woman who made room at the table for Lucy in 2013. Honored at 4 of 5 Level 3 paths — one more = Hall of Fame ⭐.
Client and friend who wanted help telling her story to her grandchildren while she was still here.
Level 4 deliverable: A complete Legacy Life Book — Amy's story preserved for her grandkids before time took it.
Click any open square to add a Wingtapper. The form walks you through Level 1 right now. Levels 2, 3, and 4 unlock as you climb. Reach DOWN squares track mentoring hours instead.
Saved automatically in this browser — start small, return often. Your Cube is one of the inputs that shapes your My Girl Power® eMag.
The Wingtappers Form is a SHARE It Studio Power Tool template — every Level 2 capture auto-produces shareable, publishable content. Levels 3 and 4 produce real, mailable artifacts.
"Why [Wingtapper] Made the Cube" — a long-form recognition built from the form responses, ready to publish on the FFH blog or your own.

The Nomination Quest — check off as you go. All 7 = a complete nomination cycle.
Top tier — best for seniors and the Wingtappers whose stories deserve to be archived. You become their Book Buddy.
Five sit-down sessions, one chapter each. Lucy used this exact frame to complete Amy Adams's book at age 85.
Reach DOWN squares track differently. Every hour you mentor or celebrate this person — log it here. The bottom half of your Cube is measured in hours of being someone's Wingtapper.
It takes about three minutes to do a Level 1. By the end of the year, you could have all 24 squares filled — and one Legacy Life Book in motion.
